Gas Buddy shows prices below $3.30 per gallon at metro stations
Hi Yeah, every time you go to the gas station, you're actually leaving money on the table, no matter what the price per gallon is, whether it's high or whether it's low. You are leaving money out there. I want to save you that money any way I can. So I'm testing out gas rewards programs to see which ones will save you the most cash. We're fueling up comparing the big loyalty programs from BP Exxon mobil shell and speedway. So we've signed up for all the different rewards programs to compare the savings between them. We're starting right here at speedway now here at speedway, they work off *** point system so follow me here. Ok, and we're leaving *** little, I'm gonna put up the numbers here as I talk to make this easier to understand. You need to get 1750 points here at speedway to unlock 10 cents off *** gallon on your next visit. How do you get those points? You get 10 points for every gallon of gas that you fill up so basically you need to fill up with 175 gallons of gas. That's like multiple trips just to unlock 10 cents off *** gallon on your next trip and then you start all over again. They also run some promotions like right now they're saying you can get 10 cents off per gallon when you buy any three cooler items inside the store and guess what? When we finish fueling, we notice *** bonus savings on our receipt *** few cents off onto the next gas station here at Exxon mobil, similar sort of thing. They also use *** point system but they do their points *** little different here for every gallon of gas, You earn three points. Once you hit 100 points, It unlocks the first round of savings, you get $1 off your next fill up, you get *** buck off as soon as you hit the 100 points. But with this next loyalty program you start saving immediately right on your first fill up. Okay, the loyalty program here at BP is called BP me rewards. This one's pretty cool. The second you sign up, you start saving, you get five cents off *** gallon at sign up for the first month. Then to keep that savings going, you just need to spend about $100 *** month in fuel. So that's like two or three fill ups and get this. There's something else called the price match. So what you do is you can actually pay 99 cents *** month, that's all it costs and fill up your tank. It will automatically search all the gas stations around for the cheapest gas and give you that price and credit it back to your account for your next fill up. That's pretty cool. But this next one may be the biggest savings of them all. It's called shell fuel rewards. I really like this one. Let me explain why. There are two tiers to it. There's *** silver tier and the gold tier on the silver tier. You save three cents *** gallon on the gold tier, you save five cents *** gallon. Here's the really cool thing, One of the reasons I love it. As soon as you sign up, you're automatically gold tier for the first six months, so five cents off every gallon for the first six months. Then you just gotta fill up twice *** month to keep it going, by the way. Most of the programs also let you earn points when you buy stuff like food and coffee inside their convenience stores. They also each offer bonus coupons and more ways to earn points inside the apps when you download them, I'm gonna post all the information to each one so you can take *** look look at the reward, see what fits with your lifestyle. And sign up yourself on my website, Rawson Reports dot com. Back to you.
