Speaking in a recent interview on the “Hard Truth” show on JoyNews, the EC boss took the opportunity to set the records straight over the continuous power outage in the Yilo and Manya Krobo of the Eastern region of Ghana.
“Do not for a second think that I am happy about what is going on. There are certain point in time, to be a leader you have to stand up and be counted. If I wanted to please Ghanaians, I would be selling ‘Waakye’ or giving people ice cream. I have to make certain tough decisions. Since 2014, those people have not been paying there bills”, the ECG boss emphatically revealed.
