CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A strong storm has dumped heavy rain and left over 50,000 customers without power in New Hampshire at its peak.

The outage count was down to over 20,000 by 5 p.m. Thursday.

Earlier, about 100 school districts reported closings and delays Thursday morning due to no electricity or downed trees and powerlines.

The storm brought minor flooding and strong wind gusts up to 55 miles an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The storm was moving out Thursday. Conditions are expected to be windy and cool Friday.
