Behind the scenes, extensive preparations have been underway. FirstEnergy has been busy during the off-season, inspecting and upgrading the electrical circuits that power the park. This maintenance is crucial to ensure the local grid can handle the high demand for electricity during the bustling summer months.

This year, FirstEnergy crews collaborated closely with Cedar Point’s construction teams to bring Siren’s Curse to life. The new ride is expected to open early this summer, promising to deliver an exhilarating experience to thrill-seekers.

"It all started with the ride and how we were going to feed the ride from a power standpoint," said a representative from FirstEnergy. "Understanding where that power was going to come from and what was in the way, cause we had an existing site and working with FirstEnergy to map out the route of the new electrical system for both the park and the ride itself. They've been a great partner since day one."

Cedar Point has yet to announce the official opening date for Siren’s Curse, but excitement is building as anticipation climbs as fast as the ride's first drop.
