Peregrine falcon chicks finally hatch at WE Energies power plant 🐤

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- WE Energies is celebrating the first chicks of the 2025 peregrine falcon nesting this season! 

Two of the peregrine falcon eggs at the Oak Creek power plant have hatched. 

Proud parents Essity and Joel showed off their first fluffy chicks Friday morning May 2, 2025. 

This is Essity's sixth year in Oak Creek, but it is the couple's first year nesting together. 

Ten more eggs at other nests are expected to hatch in the coming weeks!
