Natural gas ‘critical for our economy’: Peter Dutton

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has made the case for natural gas, saying it is “critical for our economy”.

“It makes electricity, it runs power plants, and it’s used by many businesses and manufacturers,” Mr Dutton said during the Coalition campaign launch.

“We’ll ensure that Australians have our gas to use here in Australia to bring prices down.”
