Rumour has it that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and there is no end of places to go for a full English or bacon sandwich across the Bradford district.
But in case you’re wondering where you can next visit for a stack of buttery toast, a warm croissant or tasty avocado on fresh sourdough (not to mention washed down with “superb” coffee), we’ve rounded up some of the best places.
It comes as we asked Telegraph and Argus readers to share their top spots for breakfast in the area.
With more than 200 comments on our Facebook post, here are some of the most popular places for breakfast.
Best places for breakfast in the Bradford district
Someone said they would “definitely” recommend The Loft Cafe Bar in Bingley and it was one of the most commented suggestions.
Others noted the breakfast spot on Main Street is an “absolute must”.
Meanwhile, there was a lot of love shared for The Café Candia on Legrams Lane which was hailed among “the best” – a reader revealed they had been going there since they were a child and it was a firm favourite.
Mimmo's Café at Baildon had a lot of mentions too and its customers have given it a 4.8/5 rating from more than 200 reviews on Google.
This recent guest commented: “Lovely breakfast and latte this morning.”
Another added: “Best coffee, best food, best people, best cafe.”
Ka-Fei House in Queensbury has also been raved about, with many locals praising it for its “beautiful” and “amazing” breakfasts.
One fan of the coffee shop posted: “Nothing beats Ka-Fei House in Queensbury for a full English.”
On Tripadvisor, a customer wrote: “This is the best place to go for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The food is always amazing and the coffee is always really good too! Plus the service is really nice. Genuinely my favourite place to eat out.”
Elsewhere, ACW Garden Centre Coffee Shop was described as “second to none for a breakfast” and was praised for its “great food & prices” as well as its “super service” and for being dog-friendly.

Two more favourite breakfast spots recommended by locals were the City Vaults which “can’t be faulted” and Shipley Market said to be “spot on”.

More best places for breakfast in the Bradford district according to our readers were The Lodge in Bowling Park, The Idle Bakery & Café and Marina View Coffee Shop, said to have a “fantastic view with superb coffee!”
Plus, Pam’s Place in Wyke and Latalia in Cullingworth were also highly complimented.
