PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Maryland (KMID/KPEJ) – A school bus crashed into a home in Hyattsville Thursday morning, leaving the homeowners wondering, “what’s the next move?”

At around 9pm, police responded to the 10,000 block of Riggs Road, where they found a Prince George’s Public-School bus crashed through the front of the home.

No students were on the bus at the time of the incident and, luckily, nobody inside the home was injured.

“I don’t know, I have a family, but I don’t want to be a burden. Hopefully insurance or get into a hotel or something like that,” said homeowner Victor Silvia.

The bus driver was brought to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The reason for the crash remains under investigation.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service and Prince George’s County officials were both on the scene to help.
