Anti-Corruption Bureau accuses CEO of Biofuel Authority of Rajasthan of bribery

In India, the Press Trust of India reports the Anti-Corruption Bureau has accused the CEO of the Biofuel Authority of Rajasthan together with a contract worker of demanding a $26,400 bribe from a company seeking to renew its license and continue operation, then accepting about a quarter of that amount. The ACP caught the accused while taking the bribe so have been charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The company that was being requested the bring complained to the agency.
