First Deputy PM of the Belarusian government Dmitry Krutoy commented on the results of the summit talks held in Sochi on February 7.

Belarusian refineries, on which the Belarusian side insisted, will buy oil from Russian companies at world market prices, BelTA reported.

Belarus does not need any special exclusive conditions, he said adding that they want to buy oil at world prices, and no worse.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with this approach.

Moreover, Putin promised that the Russian government will provide all possible aid in their work with Russian mining companies, he noted.

He drew attention to the fact that the Russian oil market is very heterogeneous and noted that in fact half of January the parties were not in talks due to the fact that Russia was celebrating the New Year holidays.

The First Deputy PM also said that, as the January debate showed, a certain limitation was that the Belarusian market was considered as an export one for Russian oil companies.

He also noted that Vladimir Putin appointed Dmitry Kozak responsible for working with Belarus in the oil market.
