In-flight public intoxication
In July , passengers aboard a flight to Los Angeles found themselves returning to Dallas after a woman approached the cockpit twice and demanded alcohol, according to a Dallas/Fort Worth Police report. She told police she had two glasses of wine before boarding. She was charged with public intoxication.

Texas man on jury duty ended up behind bars after police said the man showed up to Smith County Courthouse slurring his speech and looking sluggish. Police said they found beer in a large coca cola cup he had walked in with and charged him with public intoxication.
Wannabe Joker
On June 6 , a 26-year-old man threatened employees during an attempted robbery at a dry cleaning store, according to the Sugar Land Police Department. At the time, witnesses told police the man was "wearing light colored paint around his face" and looked like the "Joker." Police said the man was arrested one month later on July 5 after a resident contacted authorities and reported a man driving down the street "dressed like the Joker."
Odd home intrusion
In July, a 54-year-old woman entered a family home and began striking an 11-year-old boy with a wooden stick while yelling nonsense described as "voodoo curses," according to police documents. The accused home intruder was charged and arrested for burglary of a habitation with commission of an assault.
Prius road rage
In July , police said a Weatherford man shot at a vehicle whose occupants allegedly made an obscene gesture while passing him up on the road. Police stopped the man, who was driving a white Toyota Prius, and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

in June after police identified him by the documentation he left behind at a house he was attempting to burglarize, authorities said.

Attempted ambush
Police arrested a man
in April on a charge of attempted capital murder of a peace officer. Police said he lured authorities to his home claiming to have shot two people. When officers arrived at his home, he threatened to shoot them and yelled "Come and get me!" Police believe it was an attempted ambush.
Face-painted lawman
In February , a man from Denton, Texas with a dark substance covering his face was arrested by police on non-alcohol public intoxication and drug paraphernalia charges. When police asked him his name, he repeatedly said: "I am the law!" and "I know the law, I am the law," according to police.

Poor negotiating
In February , a Dallas ISD teacher was arrested after police said he threatened to kill his coworkers unless he was given a raise. He was charged with making a terroristic threat to a public servant.
Dallas Sheriff's Office Police said three suspects turned to stealing from unlocked cars after they were confronted for trying to use a counterfeit $100 bill at two different Magnolia restaurants in a row.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the Jack in the Box at 6734 FM 1488 on Sunday about a possible counterfeit bill. While en route, the deputies were told three males attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill at a nearby Denny's.

The three suspects fled when confronted about the $100 bill and went into the Westwood North subdivision near FM 1488, police report. The three are accused of breaking into numerous unlocked vehicles and taking laptops, phones, bags and other items. One victim who said the suspects broke into his vehicle alerted the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were able to arrest Wesley Brasseaux, Joshua Range and Shannon Scott based on the information the victim provided to the deputies. The suspects were also found with numerous counterfeit $100 bills and stolen property on them at the time of their arrest.
All three males face one charge of forgery of a government document and two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle.
